I'm Waltzing Matilda, and these are my stories, and the music that goes along with the
stories.  I want you to listen to this podcast while sitting on a sticky barstool, or while
gazing out the fogged-up window of your favorite café. Or, you could listen to it on a park
bench while the snow is melting and crocuses are pushing their sleepyheads through the
moist earth. You can even listen to it in your apartment, with a cat curled up on your lap
and a bottle of wine in your hand; or on a rusty fire-escape in a big, noisy city when the
moon is huge and orange and sad; or even in a boxcar while yer racing down the tracks
going wherever. The most important thing is, wherever you are when you're listening to
it, I want you to pretend I'm there, next to you, with a lit cigarette in one hand and a flask
of whiskey in the other, telling you these stories and making you laugh, sob, scratch yer
head, and, if I'm real lucky, getting you to look at your own life in a new way.
